How  the onePAC
Service Works

Each packet can include about 5 or 6 pills, depending on their size. If you take more than that at one time, the pills will be divided into multiple packs labeled 1 of 2, 2 of 2, etc., and clearly labeled with the date and time so there’s no confusion.

We can also include over-the-counter medications and supplements that you take on a regular basis.

Each onePAC packet is labeled with:

• Your name

• Date and time to take the enclosed pills
   (for example, 08/28/19 8:00 AM)

• List of medications in the packet, including the following
   information for each:
       - Medication name
       - Color and type of pill (for example: pink tab)
       - Strength
       - Quantity
       - Prescription number
       - Prescribing physician

• Our pharmacy name, address and phone number

• The packet’s expiration date

Taking Medication Correctly is Critical

Medication is not taken as prescribed 50 percent of the time, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

That’s a frightening statistic.

When you do not take your medicine correctly, it cannot do its job – and that threatens your health, and potentially your life.
Medication non-adherence – whether that’s forgetting doses or not taking your pills altogether – leads to unnecessary hospital admissions, illness, and deaths. The CDC says it causes 30-50 percent of chronic disease treatment failures and 125,000 deaths per year in the U.S. It costs the health-care system billions of dollars annually.

Patients often do not take their prescriptions correctly because they are confused or overwhelmed, particularly if they must manage multiple medications. Sometimes, they are simply forgetful.

That’s how our onePAC service can help.

We make it easy for you to remember your pills and take them correctly, which will help keep you well and out of the hospital. Plus, by eliminating the hassles of medication management, you will have more time to spend with family and enjoy the activities you love.
