Have a question?
Here are some FAQs that may help!

Retail Pharmacy FAQ

  • How can I transfer prescriptions from another pharmacy?

Either stop by our location or call us at 319-372-2300 to transfer your prescriptions. We’ll take care of everything else.

  • Can you help me with Medicare Part D questions?

Yes, we have trained Medicare Part D professionals on staff who can answer your questions year-round. We also provide a service during the annual enrollment period each fall; a registered nurse will be available in the pharmacy to help you choose a plan that’s best for you and get you enrolled.

  • Can you deliver my prescriptions?

Yes, we offer free home delivery within an hour of Fort Madison six days a week. We also offer free shipping across the U.S. six days a week. Just call us at 319-372-2300 to set up a delivery schedule.

  • Can I use my prescription card at your pharmacy?

Yes, Rashid Pharmacy & Wellness supports most major insurance companies.

  • I can’t afford one of my medications. What can I do?

First, we can check to see if a less expensive generic version is available. If that is not an option, many drug companies offer drug assistance programs for certain medications. We can help point you in the right direction. We don’t want you to go without taking your prescribed medication.

  • Do you offer influenza and pneumonia shots?

Yes, we offer influenza and pneumonia shots on a walk-in basis - you don’t need to make an appointment. Of course, we only offer the influenza vaccine certain months of the year to coincide with the influenza season. Check with us to be certain we have the vaccine available.

onePAC FAQ

  • Is there an additional cost for this service?

No, this type of packaging costs no more than prescriptions in bottles or other types of packages. But it is certainly more convenient for people who must manage multiple medications.

  • How do I sign up?

It’s easy – just give us a call at 319-372-2300 and we’ll take care of everything.

  • Will I still pick up my medicine at the pharmacy?

No, your onePAC medications will be delivered to your home at no extra charge. In fact, we offer home delivery for all prescriptions, no matter how it’s packaged.

  • How will you know when my doctor changes my medication?

You will receive a phone call from a pharmacy technician to go over any medication changes sent to us by your doctors’ office.  If you require assistance adjusting your medication roll due to any changes, we can help with that process on request.

  • What if I have prescriptions that aren’t pills, such as ointments, creams, liquids, inhalers, or diabetes test strips?

Prescriptions that are used as needed or that cannot be packaged in medication rolls are filled by patient request.

  • Can over-the-counter medicine or supplements be added to my onePAC?

We can also include over-the-counter medications and supplements that you take on a regular basis.
